Sidney Ashes

A 25 year old Texas born Christian singer, who has resided in London for two years. His silky smooth verbal flow and his persuasive words of wisdom allows him to rally up those who have lost faith in humanity and the state of the world. His two main goals in life: Is to prepare people for the arrival of the antichrist through music and to silence false prophets. But this changes once he falls into the palm of Klord, a “puppeteer in a suit” who has similar motives but uses questionable processes to execute plans. Wanting to break free of his strings, Sidney becomes more rebellious and demanding of his so-called ‘followers’.

Klord Fachetti

A 50 year old entertainment agency CEO whose mission is to make the entertainment industry “clean again” by keeping employees and the talent in his company in line with his values with an iron fist. After building his company from the ground up, partnering with churches and by using questionable means, he wishes to expand throughout the country then to expand internationally. He agrees with what Sidney believes in terms of faith, but in contrast, he believes violence is necessary to return the industry into its clean state. But like Sidney, he too has misread the Bible, he does not realise that his approach is incorrect. He uses churches to economically support his business with the promise he’ll reform the industry, this money he uses to bolster Sidney’s representation so he can use him as a poster boy. This unfortunately backfires.

ABZ

Abz is the younger sister of Deji who acts like an older sister, stubborn with her words but peaceful with her tone. She is his talent manager "by choice", and pushes him to exercise his freedom of speech by being as controversial as he wants.

GIOVANNI

The second right hand man of Armado, he is nothing more than good looks and smooth talk. He should be in a modelling business instead of the harassing business. He can look threatening when he needs to but sees no point, since his victims are already terrified of Armado. So Giovanni decides to just joke around with Lincoln while Armado gets on with business.

Gideon

He is one of three of Sidney’s most trusted followers. A quiet 24 year old who tends to just listen and agree. It is clear that he is lost in life, simply wants a community and needs something to look up to. He looks like a man who is ready to be exploited. Throughout the film we see him build up courage and purpose.

Armado Balthazaar

Klord’s number one messenger/harasser/overseer. A 27 year old smartly dressed man with a cold look to him. He is sophisticated and stubborn, and prefers to get the job done with speed and efficiency. He doesn’t believe in anything unless it puts money in his pocket, hence why he has no empathy for people who disobeys Klord. This is until he is sent to watch over Sidney’s growth into a posterboy. Sidney’s persuasion awakens a new spirit within him.

MARY

A 19 year old innocent-looking lady with an analytical eye and a confident persona . She is one of three of Sidney’s most trusted followers. Sidney recruits her after he randomly gives her one of his Bible’s during a performance. Out of all of the followers, she is the only one to read and study the Bible. Observing and following Sidney’s actions, and listening to his “words of truth”; she realises that Sidney’s “truth” doesn’t quite line up with the book that contains the Truth.

LINCOLN ‘SQUEEZER’

One of Armado’s right hand men, but looks slightly creepier than him and Giovanni. He wears suspenders with his shirt and trousers but in a somewhat scruffy fashion like he’s just finished burying a body. He tends to joke around the most with Giovanni in Italian but those who understand Italian will understand that what he is joking about is twisted. He earned his second name ‘squeezer’ for his horrific method of sending a message: by using a lemon squeezer to stab into a person's eye.

TIM

Of the followers, he is the most authoritative. He tends to appoint himself as second in command but would never even think about stepping above Sidney. He truly believes that Sidney is more than just a messenger, he believes he is divine. His personality is as unstable as his beliefs; aggressive when making harmful choices at one moment, then uncomfortably loyal to Sidney and those around him the next. He is one of three of Sidney’s most trusted followers and is 26 years old. He was recruited in Texas and has followed Sidney ever since.

Alessandro

A well educated spokesman for Klord. He analyses social reconstructions and potential threats to the church and Fachetti’s business. His knowledge of the bible is very strong but lacks the ability to solve the issue of secularisation himself which makes the need for Sindey vital. Alessandro resorts to being a gunman in the field when things get rather intense.

Deji Agwa

A 26 year old up and coming comedian who has a decent amount of fame and success for his age. This fame has caused him to be arrogant, prideful and overconfident. Pleasing his fans and receiving love from them is the only thing he cares about in life. Like most comedians he branches out into different topics, but occasionally he performs comedy sets on his ‘belief’ in atheism and his disapproval of religion. Being in Klord’s talent roster, it is clear that he needs to be disciplined due to his offensive jokes, but Sidney won’t allow him to be touched. Simply because Sidney wants to prove to the world that Deji is wrong. Although by this point, Deji has thrown too much charcoal into the furnace…

JOHNNY GLADSTONE

Sidney’s 26 year old talent manager who only focuses on what makes Sidney sellable, not on Sidney’s emotions or true passions. Johnny has struggled to maintain a stress-free lifestyle especially since his job is on the line if he doesn’t widen Sidney’s target audience. And the way to do that, is by pushing Sidney to change the message of his music. But, all patience is lost once Klord diverts and  advances Sidney in a new direction. Johnny has no choice but to swim deeper into stress. 

LESTER

A hard-boiled 45 year old arms dealer who knows when to tactically crack a joke in a tense situation and when to pull the trigger in a peaceful situation. Wanting to venture away from his old private protection days, he has taken up trading arms around London with his two other partners in crime. Klord, knowing his past, offers to hire him as his own private security and ‘task force’ when needed. Like Armado, wherever the money is, that is where his belief lays. So he follows the money, and lands in a pit of regret.

DAPHNE

A 23 year old optimistic woman, who always sees great potential in Sidney’s ‘wise’ words. Her persona switches to anyone who opposes his words. She has a stern glare and malicious responses for the likes of Johnny and Armado who often question and hinder Sidney. Like the other followers, she takes Sidney’s messages too literal. Like Tim she was recruited in Texas, she also sees Sidney as a father figure.

Claudio

‘The doorman’ as people like to refer to him as is a little more than that. Being Klords accountant, he keeps a close eye on the companies indirectly damging Fachetti’s and highlights who needs to be addressed.
